A Different Kind of
Dental Practice
SHDC was founded on a simple but radical idea: that dentistry should consider the whole body. Long before "holistic dentistry" became a widely used term, our founders were asking deeper questions about the materials used in dental care, the connection between oral health and systemic disease, and what it truly means to support a patient's long-term wellbeing.
Today, that founding philosophy is embedded in everything we do — from the mercury-safe SMART protocol for amalgam removal, to our use of biocompatible zirconia implants, to our airway and myofunctional assessments for children and adults.
Located in the heart of Sydney CBD at Level 17, 111 Elizabeth Street, we serve patients from across New South Wales and beyond who are looking for a dental team that takes their whole health seriously.

What Makes SHDC Different
Biological Materials
We use only biocompatible, mercury-free, BPA-free materials that respect your body's biology.
Whole-Body Thinking
Every treatment decision considers your systemic health — not just the tooth in question.
Informed Consent
We provide full transparency on all risks, alternatives, and options before any treatment begins.
AHPRA Registered
All our dentists are AHPRA-registered and hold additional specialist training in their areas.
Evidence-Based
Our protocols are grounded in current research — including IAOMT, SMART, and peer-reviewed literature.
Patient Partnership
We work with you, not on you. Your health goals guide every appointment.
